Join us for this new exercise program that will help you reach your best abilities in day-to-day life.
The MS Moves Program offers you:
- Two new exercise videos per month
- Monthly Zoom meetups with your peers and instructor
- Motivation and accountability resources via email
Why Participate
Exercise is critical for your health, but finding the right fitness program can be a challenge—especially when your energy is a precious resource.
MS Moves will help you use your time wisely, getting active while focusing on your functional abilities.
The MS Moves Program is led by physical therapist and MS certified specialist Mandy Rohrig.
These 15-minute videos will guide you through functional fitness routines designed and led by Mandy. Each video is like a short PT session - at no cost to you!
MS Moves is a perfect way to supplement your existing exercise routine or get started with entry-level exercise!
What To Expect
The complete MS Moves Program includes:
- Access to each new MS Moves with Mandy video as it's released
- Reminders on how and when to complete your exercise videos
- Monthly Zoom meet-ups to consult with Mandy and hear tips from your peers
- Accountability tools to help you make the most of this program
Each video is thoughtfully designed for people with MS, including an adequate warm-up, cooling breaks, and accessibility variations. (You can complete this entire program seated!)
Throughout the program, you will focus on functional goals such as:
- Lifting and carrying
- Sitting-to-standing
- Core and posture
- Hand function
- Bed mobility
- Stairs, curbs, and leg mobility
Is This Program Right For You?
MS affects everyone differently, and it also may affect you differently over time.
With that in mind, MS Moves can help you no matter your current ability level.
- If you already move with ease, you might find that MS Moves is a complement to your existing exercise routines. It can help you maintain your functional abilities.
- If you move around well but struggle with some stiffness, strength, or mobility challenges, this program can help you optimize your abilities.
- If you have mobility challenges that interfere with your everyday life, this program can help you improve your abilities! These exercise videos include modifications that you can complete while seated or with mobility aids.
While this program cannot guarantee positive results, we will be here to help you get the most out of the program!
How To Get Started
First, SIGN UP to access the complete program!
The program will launch on March 7 with the first MS Moves with Mandy video.
Follow along with the videos throughout the month, then join us at the end of each month for the MS Moves Meet-Up to address your questions or challenges.
2023 MS Moves Meet-Up Dates
The monthly meetups will be on the last Wednesday of the month, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm ET on the following dates:
